Meet Kiyo!
Kiyo received her massage certification at Apollo College in Boise, Idaho where she was trained extensively in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Chair Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Deep Tissue Massage. She was also trained in reflexology, shiatsu, and myofascial techniques. She has been an athlete almost her entire life. She was a track and field athlete in high school, and during her college years she was an Olympic Weightlifter in the 63kg and 69kg weight classes. She is the current 63kg state record holder in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total in the 63kg weight class. During her athletic career, her accomplishments include: Member of the 2006 World University Weightlifting Team, Member of the 2002 Junior World Team, Member of the 2002 National Junior Squad, 2002 Junior National Champion, Member of the 2001 Junior Pan Am Team, 2002 State Long Jump Champion, and also 2001-2002 Centennial High School Pole Vault record. During her lifting career she was introduced to massage therapy. Through this experience she gained an understanding of the important role that massage plays in keeping the body at an optimum performance level.
